Every day in rural communities throughout Pakistan, millions of people suffer from a lack of access to clean, safe water.
Did you know that over 1 billion people around the world lack access to clean water? In Punjab, Pakistan, this crisis is particularly acute. Families are forced to drink contaminated water that can lead to waterborne diseases such as diarrhea, cholera, and typhoid fever. Children are particularly vulnerable and may die from these illnesses before they reach the age of 5.
At Wells of Salvation Fund, we are working to provide access to clean water in the slums of Punjab, Pakistan. With your help, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.

What We Build
We build and maintain new hand pump water wells. We empower our in-country experts, along with the communities themselves, to build and maintain these simple but effective tools for extracting water.
Each water project enables our team to install and maintain local water pumps that give generational freedom to the local people. These pumps last 20 years and with basic maintenance they can go much longer.
Providing access to save and reliable water projects with the support of people like you is how we are making a massive difference in the area.
The Cost of a Well
We are committed to funding these hand pumps and wells through the most efficient and sustainable solutions. The costs locally to completely dig, install, test and activate a hand pump well is three-hundred USD ($300).
This enables our local facilitator to purchase materials, fuel his vehicle, hire a local team, plan and dig the bore hole and install the pump.
Every gift enables the building of a new well at the entrance of the village that allows everyone, regardless of their faith or background, to have access to clean and abundant water.
